JobChief Terms of Use

Effective October 31, 2026.

These terms cover the JobChief mobile app and the jobchief.app website (together, the "App"), provided by Patrick Foundry LLC ("Patrick Foundry," "we," "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Who we are

Patrick Foundry LLC is a Florida limited liability company. You can reach us at hello@jobchief.app.

License to use the App

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on devices you own or control, for your own use or for use within your business, as permitted by these terms and by the rules of the app store you downloaded it from. You may not copy, modify, resell, sublicense, rent, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the App, except where the law allows this despite this restriction.

Accounts

Some features may require an account, such as a Foreman account. If you create one, give accurate information, keep your sign-in details secure, and tell us promptly if you think someone has used your account without permission. You are responsible for activity under your account. You can stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or if needed to protect the App, other users, or us.

Acceptable use

Do not use the App to break the law or anyone's rights; upload malware or anything harmful; try to access accounts, systems, or data you are not authorized to access; interfere with or overload the App; scrape or harvest data; or misuse the voice or AI features to create unlawful, abusive, or misleading content. Do not put information into the App that you have no right to share.

Your content

You keep ownership of the notes, entries, and other content you create in the App. You give us permission to store, process, and display that content only as needed to run the App and provide the features you use. How we handle data is described in our App Privacy Policy at jobchief.app/privacy.

Not professional advice

JobChief is a planning, communication, and documentation tool. It is not legal, safety, engineering, accounting, or contract advice. AI-assisted and voice features can make mistakes. Check anything important before you rely on it. Your contract, your company's procedures, applicable safety rules, and the law control.

Purchases and subscriptions

If paid features are offered, prices and billing terms will be shown before you buy. Purchases made through an app store are processed by that store under its terms, and refunds for those purchases are handled under the store's policies.

Apple App Store terms

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, the following also applies:

• These terms are between you and Patrick Foundry only, not Apple. Patrick Foundry, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and its content.
• Your license is limited to using the App on Apple-branded products you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, except that the App may be accessed by other accounts associated with you through Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
• If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the App. Any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses due to failure to conform to a warranty are our responsibility, to the extent not disclaimed in these terms.
• We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the App or your use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and claims under consumer protection, privacy, or similar laws.
• If a third party claims that the App or your use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of that claim.
• You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the App, such as your wireless data service agreement.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and, once you accept them, Apple has the right to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.
• Questions, complaints, or claims about the App should be sent to us at hello@jobchief.app.

Third-party services

The App may link to or rely on services we do not control. Those services are provided under their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for them.

Our content

The App, its design, text, graphics, logos, and the JobChief name and marks belong to Patrick Foundry LLC or are used with permission. These terms do not give you any right to use our marks.

Disclaimer

Apart from promises we make in writing, the App is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we disclaim other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost. Keep your own records of anything important.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, neither you nor Patrick Foundry LLC is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, or lost business opportunities. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about the App is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months before the claim, or US $50.

These limits do not limit liability for fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or anything else the law does not allow to be limited, and they do not take away rights you have under consumer protection or other laws that cannot be waived. Some places do not allow some of these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Changes

We may update the App and these terms. When we change these terms, we will update the date above and, for material changes, give notice in the App or on jobchief.app. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Talk to us first, and governing law

If something goes wrong, email hello@jobchief.app and we will try to fix it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be heard in the state courts located in Duval County, Florida (small-claims cases may go to small-claims court there).
